卖马坡

彭雪枫将军在开辟豫皖苏抗日根据地的困难时期，单位“卖马度春荒”。他下令卖掉包括他的坐骑枣红马在内的战马，维持部队生活开支，还救济了无粮断炊的贫困户。此处命名为“卖马坡”，以铭记彭将军为国为民的高尚品德。
 
It was a difficult period when General Peng Xuefeng established Yu- Wan-Su Anti-Japanese Base. Horses were sold to live up in the spring. He ordered to sell all the horses, including his own, to maintain the costs for living and relief the non-food households. Here is named as Maima Slope 
to bear in mind General Peng’s high moral character, to the country and for the people.
